Raleigh, NC: How to Sell Your Home During An Economic Downturn

How To Sell Your Home During An Economic Downturn

For many, 2010 was a challenging year for Real Estate Sales.  Can you believe we had multiple offers on some homes? We’re actually negotiating a multiple offer as I write this letter. How does that happen?

For beginners, it has to look good, smell good, and be priced right. Remember the old saying, location, location, location? Well, location once again reins King! No longer can you sell your Triangle home “as is - where is” for top dollar.  We  profile each home we list for sale, assist the seller in preparing it for the market, price it accordingly, & then we market it based on the BUYER! Believe me, it sounds a lot easier than it is.  It's very important to contact a Professional Experienced Real Estate Agent to do these things for your. It is possible to sell your home if it's done properly!

I like your energy and positive attitude - and you're right, the home must smell good, too.

Aww, Thanks Michelle. Yes, it must smell good or at least neutral.  Odors can really offend some people.  Hope all is good in your corner of the world.  Take Care!

I love you your term "As-is Where-is" no longer works.  To the point!  Buyers certainly don't want someone else's to-do list!

Michele - You're right.  We remind our buyers once they close they inherit all that comes with it.  I just met with a buyer who has been around the block.  He said this time, they won't let their emotions convenience them to accept the things they know they're regret later.  They want the house to be move - in ready.
